Abstract

This illustration, created as a cover for the reviews of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, was designed with the intention of being another exploration of the text in question. As the review contest sought to critically examine but also celebrate Nolan's adaptation, this piece was inspired by my own interpretation of Odysseus and Athena---with some creative liberty.

Kate Coffell, University of Waterloo

Kate Coffell is an Associate Editor of Epic Threads. She is an undergraduate student at the University of Waterloo, pursuing a double major in Classics and Fine Arts. She is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to Epic Threads' unique blend of creativity and history.
