Abstract

De nombreuses affections oculaires différentes peuvent imiter le glaucome en causant la mort des ganglions rétiniens et la perte du champ visuel. Un sous-groupe de ces problèmes oculaires comprend les événements vasculaires occlusifs rétiniens. Il y a une condition particulièrement sous-estimée et rare dans ce sous-groupe, l’occlusion partielle ou incomplète de l’artère rétinienne centrale. La présentation clinique, le pronostic et les associations systémiques du CRAO partiel/incomplet seront donc examinés à l’aide d’un cas à titre d’exemple. Les méthodes de tomographie par cohérence optique permettant de distinguer les différentes étiologies à l’origine de la mort des ganglions rétiniens seront également abordées dans ce cas. Ces méthodes seront utiles aux cliniciens dans les cas où les antécédents oculaires sont impossibles à obtenir.
