Liisa Horelli, Aalto University

Liisa Hoerlli works as adjunct professor at the Centre for Urban and Regional Studies, Aalto University, FInland. She is conducting action research on participatory e-planning and time planning with different groups.

Douglas Schuler, The Public Sphere Project and The Evergreen State College

Douglas Schuler has been working at the intersection of  society and technology for over 25 years. His primary research and action focus is civic intelligence. His recent book, Liberating Voices: A Pattern Language for Communication Revolution contains 136 "patterns" for social engagement. The patterns were written by Schuler and 85 other authors.
