Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) are changing development strategies globally. Author Rob Salkowitz illuminates the role that youth play in transforming such technologies into opportunities for a share in the global marketplace. It is realized from Young World Rising: How Youth, Technology and Entrepreneurship are Changing the World from the Bottom Up that youth not only have the potential to take advantage of such market opportunities, but that the social benefits they create down the line can shift corporate culture and development paradigms of a time once passed.
