Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- Please register with the journal before submitting your manuscripts. Registered authors will receive notifications about the status of their submissions and important information for edits and publication as well as updates on journal issues.

Submissions should be between 10 and 20 pages in length, double-spaced (excluding citations, references, and appendices)
- Complete and accurate citations, references, bibliographies, and works cited must be provided, following the most current Chicago author-date style

Use an 11 or 12 point font, such as Times New Roman or Arial.

Maintain 1-inch margins.

Files must be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format or equivalent to standard word processing software.
The file name should follow this format: "LastName_FirstInitial_ShortTitle" (e.g., "Smith_J_ColonialHistory.docx"). -
Submit all manuscripts via the journal website to ensure we receive your submissions! Please ensure all relevant fields are filled out and that you have the following information ready when submitting:
*Author’s name and introduction.
*Title of the submission.
*A short abstract (100-200 words) summarizing the paper.
A confirmation of receipt and timeline for the peer-review process will be provided after submission.
